Shakib submits 3 filled-up nomination forms to AL office

Sports desk: Shakib Al Hasan, captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team across all formats, has submitted three filled-up nomination forms to the office of the ruling Awami League for the upcoming 12th national parliamentary elections.

He submitted the forms at the office on Bangabandhu Avenue around 3:30 pm, Tuesday.

Earlier, Shakib’s relatives, on behalf of him, collected the nomination forms on Saturday (November 18) to contest the polls of Dhaka-10, Magura-1 and Magura-2 constituencies under the “boat” symbol.

The 12th national parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held on January 7, 2024.
