Australian win the toss at the MCG

India make mass changes for the Boxing Day Test at the MCG
Australian captain Tim Paine has won the toss at the MCG and he had no hesitation in electing to bat first.
The Australians will field the same side that scored a big win in the first match in Adelaide, while India has made four changes.
The visitors have handed a debut to Mohammed Siraj and Shubman Gill, while Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja also come into the side.
The visitors are without Virat Kohli (paternity leave) and Mohammed Shami (broken arm), while Wriddhiman Saha and Prithvi Shaw have been dropped.
Paine indicated that injured opening batsman David Warner was a good chance to return for the third Test, while noting the team hadn’t spent too much time celebrating the win in Adelaide.
“If we want to become a really good team we’ve got to back it up,” Paine said.
“Series wins are more important than individual Test wins, and obviously we’ve got our eye on the World Test Championship as well.
“Every Test is so important, so we moved on pretty quickly.”
