Trump, Netanyahu to meet again Monday

Online desk: US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are set to meet on Monday for their second White House discussion since Trump returned to office.
The visit comes as Israel intensifies its military campaign in Gaza, deploying troops and creating new security zones, with plans to seize large areas of territory. This follows Israel’s breaking of a ceasefire last month after a surprise bombardment aimed at pressuring Hamas to agree to new terms.
Netanyahu’s office confirmed that the leaders will also address Israel’s 17% tariff and the country’s stance in relation to the International Criminal Court, which has accused Netanyahu of crimes against humanity over the situation in Gaza.
Netanyahu continues to face domestic and international pressure, with hostages’ families urging Trump to influence Netanyahu to end the war and bring their loved ones home. Despite these concerns, Netanyahu has pledged to escalate the conflict until Hamas disarms and returns all hostages.
Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu comes ahead of his planned foreign trip, which may include visits to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.
