BD popular actor Abdul Kader dies

Popular actor Abdul Kader died on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit of Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
He had been suffering from COVID-19 and pancreatic cancer stage IV.
His daughter-in-law Jahida Islam Jamy confirmed it.
‘My father-in-law died at about 8:20am. He tested negative for COVID-19. The doctors told us that he would be shifted to the cabin today and then he is no more,’ Jahida Islam Jamy said.
His body will be taken to his residence at Mirpur DOHS.
Abdul Kader went to Chennai in India on December 8 for better treatment after a tumour was detected in his body. He received treatment at Christian Medical Hospital in Chennai where he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The cancer had spread to the other parts of his body. He returned to Bangladesh on December 15 and tested positive for COVID-19 on December 20.
Abdul Kader received huge response playing the role of Bodi in Humayun Ahmed’s drama series Kothao Keu Nei in the 90s. He had acted in the films — Wrong Number, Bhalobasha Jindabad, and others.
