Bangladesh : Son catches father while fleeing after killing mother

A 20-year-old man caught and handed over his father to the police on charges of beheading his mother on Monday.

Arrested Rabiul Hossain, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver, beheaded his wife Selina Begum, 40, in Pallabi area, Pallabi police station inspector, investigation, Abu Sayeed Al Mamun said .

The incident took place at about 11:30am during an altercation between Rabiul and his wife Selina.

Rabiul allegedly beheaded the victim and wrapped the body with a blanket before leaving the house.

The 20-year-old man and his 15-year-old brother noticed their mother’s body.

The elder brother chased their father and caught him with the help of locals. Later, they handed him over to the police.

The inspector said that Robiul was a drug addict and hardly made a financial contribution to the family.

They recovered a dagger which was suspected to be used in the murder. New Age
