Politics of Awami League based on falsehood: Rizvi
Bangladesh Desk: Senior joint secretary general of Bangladesh Nationalist Party Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed on Sunday said that politics of Awami League was based on false and untrue statements.
While speaking at a protest procession at Purana Paltan crossing, Rizvi said that state minister for foreign affairs Shahariar Alam two days ago said that Bangladesh would give Hungary government five thousand doses of coronavirus vaccine.
‘But we knew that our government did not talk to Hungary government in this regard,’ he added.
‘At last the news was published that Hungary would not take any vaccine from Bangladesh and a developed country could not take vaccine from our country,’ Rizvi said.
Jatiyatabadi Matsyajibi Dal organised the rally and a procession protesting against the punishment of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman awarded by a Narail Court recently in a defamation case.
BNP joint secretary general Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel, Matsyajibi Dal member secretary Abdur Rahim and others spoke at the rally.
The procession ended at Bijoynagar after starting from Paltan crossing.
