HC asks to remove all pictures of Magura rape child from social media

Bangladesh desk: The High Court on Sunday instructed the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to remove all photos of Magura rape victim from social media platforms.
The bench of Farah Mahbub and Debashish Rai Chowdhury issued the suo moto order.
Earlier this morning, Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Mahsib Hossain placed newspaper reports on the issue before the court. After that, the court issued this order.
The victim’s mother has filed a case over the incident. Her daughter’s husband, her father-in-law, her mother-in-law and brother-in-law have been made accused and the four are under police custody.
On Saturday, the case was recorded at 3PM.
