Four Bangladeshis injured in Canada shooting

Online Desk:  Four Bangladeshi nationals have received bullet injuries in a shooting at Regent Park area of Toronto in Canada.

The injured are Anai Mia, vice-president of the Golapganj Foundation, Mumin Mia, Sultan Mia and Sattar Mia, president of the Jalalabad Association of Toronto Debabrata De Tamal said in a Facebook post.

Among the injured persons, Anai Mia’s condition is critical.

The injured were rushed to the trauma center of a local hospital.

Toronto police said they were called to a parking lot on Oak Street, near Regent Park Boulevard and Dundas Street East, at around 11:43 p.m. Tuesday for reports of sounds of gunfire, said a report of CTV News.

They arrived to find a gold Honda Accord with numerous bullet holes.
Investigators said they had secured video footage from the scene as well as some witnesses.
Police were reportedly looking for two male suspects driving a grey 2014 Toyota RAV4 SUV.
