Flyover girder collapses near Dhaka airport; 4 hurt

Four people, including two Chinese nationals, were injured as a girder of Elevated Expressway collapsed in Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport area on Sunday.

The four were working during the incident that occurred at 10:30am.

The other two injured are Bangladeshis.

Airport Police Station OC Dadan Fakir said of the wounded, three were sent to Ever Care Hospital and one to National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR).
