Biman Bangladesh flight lands safely in Ctg after landing gear glitch

An aircraft of Bangladesh Biman Airlines lands safely at the Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport after one and half an hour after its flight as its landing gear goes out of order after the flight started from Dhaka on Wednesday evening.
Bangladesh desk: The landing gear of a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight went out of order after the flight started from Dhaka for Chattogram on Wednesday evening.
The aircraft, however, landed safely at the Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport after one and half an hour after its flight, said officials.
There were a total of 42 passengers including a lawmaker, Abu Reza Mohammad Nezamuddin Nadwi of Chattogram-15 constituency, on board and no casualty recorded in the incident, Md Omar Faruk, station manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines in Chattogram Airport, told New Age.
He said the aircraft left Dhaka at about 7:47pm for Chattogram. When it reached Chattogram, the pilot noticed its landing gear was not working.
Later, the pilot wait for half an hour in sky and finally it landed at the end of a runway at about 9:30pm.
The passengers exited from the plane safely immediately after its landing, he said.
