Bangladeshi found throat-slit in Saudi Arabia

Community desk: A Bangladeshi man was found dead with his throat slit in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia.

The deceased was identified as Zakir Hossain Gazi, 29, son of Kanchan Mia of Aruail area in Sarail upazila of of Brahmanbaria.

Zakir’s elder brother Dulal Miah told media that one of his brothers-in-law informed them about the murder from Saudi Arabia.

He said assailants slaughtered Zakir at his home in Al Hera area on Wednesday morning and fled the scene.

“We have even received a photo showing Zakir’s blood-stained body,” said Dulal.

But, Zakir’s family members could not confirm about the assailants/

Zakir’s family say he had been living in Saudi Arabia as an expatriate since 2008, but had returned home to Bangladesh two-and-a-half years ago for his brother’s wedding.
