Bangladeshi foreign-bound students asked to apply for vaccine

Bangladesh desk: The foreign ministry on Tuesday suggested the Bangladeshi students set to leave home for abroad for study to register their intent by July 27 from today for receiving Covid-19 vaccines.
The applicants should scan some documents, as a proof of their enrolment in respective educational institutions, for sending in one ZIP/PDF file by an email to vaccine.coronacell@mofa.gov.bd.
The documents the applicants should include with their applications are — copy of passport, visa, student enrolment confirmation letter sent by the educational institutions and student identity card, subject to availability of the papers.
The students should mention in the subject of the email: Application for COVID-19 vaccination for students studying abroad (Passport No.).
They must fill up a google form https://forms.gle/6hN5a7P4bHX6r9AS9 properly.
The foreign ministry said it will not process applications unless the prescribed google form is filled up and documents required are sent as per the instructions.
The ministry suggested the students to register with the Surokkha app/website for vaccination after three working days of sending the documents and filling up the google form.
