Bangladesh: Woman electrocuted while cooking

Bangladesh desk: A woman died from electrocution at Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur district on Thursday afternoon.
Deceased Parul Begum, 58, was the wife of Rawshan Ali Prodhan, a resident of Nagarbhela village under the upazila.
Locals said Parul came in contact with a live wire when she was cooking food in the kitchen.
She was rushed to Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared her dead.
The health complex physician Dr Manisha Chandra confirmed the matter.
