Bangladesh: Govt bans entry of passengers from Europe, 12 countries

Online Desk: The government has banned entry of passengers from Europe and 12 other countries in Bangladesh due to sharp rise of coronavirus.
But UK passengers are allowed to entry in the country.
The restriction will remain in force from April 3-18, Civil Aviation Authority confirmed in a circular on Thursday.
The 12 other countries are: Bahrain, Brazil, Argentina, Jordan, Chile, Kuwait, Lebanon, Peru, Qatar, South Africa, Turkey and Uruguay.
The circular also informed the passengers from the countries, out of the ban, must show their PCR-based COVID-19 negative certificate which will be done within 72 hours.
After arrival, all passengers will have to complete a mandatory 14 days institutional quarantine at government facilities or government-approved hotels at passenger’s own cost, it said.
