Arrested Deen Islam, Amman involved in Abantika’s suicide: Police

Bangladesh desk: Jagannath University’s assistant proctor Deen Islam and classmate Raihan Siddique Amman have involved in the suicide of law department’s student Fairuz Abantika, according to police.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) additional commissioner K Mohid Uddin disclosed this during a press briefing on Sunday.
Responding to a quarry of the journalists, the DMP additional commissioner said, “The two accused were under our observation after receiving the suicide news. They were arrested following a case filed with Kotwali Police station. In primary quizzing, it was found that Amman and Deen Islam have link behind Abantika’s suicide. They were handed over to Cumilla police in the morning. Now, they will thoroughly investigate the case.
