4 Bangladeshi varsities named in top world list

Online desk: Four Bangladeshi universities made the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) list of best universities in the world.
The universities are: Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET), Dhaka University (DU) and private BRAC University and North South University (NSU).
Names of some 1,300 top universities across the world have come in the 2022 QS list.
BUET and Dhaka University have been named in the list for the fourth consecutive years.
BUET and Dhaka University ranked between 801-1000 place while BRACU and NSU ranked between 1001-1200 place.
The top three universities in this year’s QS rankings are the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Oxford and Stanford University.
QS World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings based on research, teacher-student ratios, research essay citations, graduates’ performance in job sectors and student exchange rates at the international level.
