12kg LPG cylinder price fixed at Tk 1,235

Bangladesh desk: Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of 12-kg cylinder of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 57 setting the new price at Tk 1,235.
The new price will come into effect from Tuesday evening.
BERC Chairman Md Nurul Amin announced it at a press conference held at its office in Dhaka.
Prices of other sizes of LPG cylinders – from 5.5kg to 45kg – will go up rationally, he said.
In the previous month, the price of a 12-kg cylinder was Tk 1,178.
Besides, the price of autogas (LPG used for motor vehicles) will be Tk 57.52 per litre, which was Tk 54.90 in April.
