Your complete guide to Anzac Day Dawn Services around the country

Hundreds of thousands of Australians will gather around the country on Tuesday, April 25 to commemorate the soldiers who fought in World War I, as well as those who have given their lives in other conflicts.
Numerous Anzac Day dawn and sunset services will be held in each state and territory tomorrow, with the largest crowds to congregate in each of the capital cities.
Here is a rundown of all the major events set to take place around Australia. You will be able to livestream the major events on 9news.com.au.
Sydney
Sydney’s main dawn service will be held at the Martin Place Cenotaph at 4.30am.
The march will begin at the intersection of Martin Place and Elizabeth St, in the CBD at 9am, and will run until approximately 12.30pm, when a commemoration service will be held next to The Pool of Remembrance at the Anzac War Memorial in Hyde Park South.
An Anzac Sunset Service Ceremony will be held at the Cenotaph in Martin Place at 5pm.
Melbourne
Melbourne’s largest dawn service will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance from 5.30am, with more than 30,000 people expected to attend.
The service will be followed by the Anzac Day Parade along St Kilda Road and Swanston Street from 9am.
Free shuttle buses will be in service to transport people along 12 Melbourne routes, including several RSLs, to the Shrine for the 6am ceremony. More information about transport can be found here.
Brisbane
Brisbane will hold its traditional dawn service located at the city’s Shrine of Remembrance at Anzac Square, located between Ann and Adelaide Streets.
The service starts at 4.28am, but attendees are advised to arrive by no later than 3.30am.
The Anzac Day march that usually follows the service will not take place this year.
“A feature of the Brisbane Dawn Service over many years has been the March of Veterans from King George Square to Anzac Square at the commencement of the Service,” a statement from the Queensland Anzac Day Commemoration Committee reads.
“Regrettably, the numbers marching have dwindled in recent years and it has been decided to discontinue this aspect of the Dawn Service. We thank the many participants that have contributed to this aspect of the Dawn Service over many years.”

Perth
The main Anzac Day Dawn Service at the State War Memorial in Kings Park will start at 6am, but participants are advised to start arriving at 4am.
It will be followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at Government House Gardens open to everyone from 7am to 9am, before the state’s Anzac Day March begins at the corner of Barrack Street and St Georges Terrace at 9am.
An all-inclusive Sunset Service will be held at Kings Park on Monday, April 24 from 5pm. The event will include audio description, wheelchair access, auslan and low sensory facilities.
Hobart
Hobart’s dawn service will be running at Hobart Cenotaph, Queens Domain, from 6am.
The Anzac Day Hobart dawn service is conducted at the Hobart Cenotaph in Queens Domain near the Tasman Highway at 6am.
Canberra
The Dawn Service at the Australian War Memorial will begin at 5.30am, but images from the National Collection will be displayed from 3:30am, and readings from the letters and diaries of Australian servicemen at 4:30am.
The ACT Returned and Services League Veterans’ March will begin at 9.30am on Anzac Parade at the intersection of Blamey Crescent and Currong Street.

Adelaide
Adelaide’s main Dawn Service will be held at the South Australian National War Memorial at 6am.
The Anzac Day March will commence at 9:30am from the corner of North Terrace and Gawler Place in Adelaide CBD.
Darwin
There will be a dawn service held at the Darwin Cenotaph, on the Esplanade starting at 6am.
The Anzac Day march will begin via Knuckey Street on 9.00am.
