New COVID-19 case linked to NSW Southern Highlands cluster

One new case of locally transmitted COVID-19 has been diagnosed in NSW in the last 24 hours.
Four new virus cases were also detected in overseas travellers in hotel quarantine bringing the total number of new cases to five.
There have now been 4270 cases of COVID-19 in NSW since the pandemic began.

The new case is a household contact of a confirmed case in Moss Vale in the Southern Highlands.
There are now a total of five people associated with the Southern Highlands cluster after four new cases were identified yesterday.
Moss Vale Public School, which was closed for on-site learning on Friday due to a student who tested positive to COVID-19, will reopen on Monday.
“The school has been thoroughly cleaned and will resume on-site teaching and learning on Monday 9 November, 2020. The Moss Vale Out of School Hours (MVOOSH) will also resume operations,” a statement from the school said. “NSW Education worked closely with NSW Health to establish close contacts. Close contacts have been notified and asked to self-isolate.” 9news
