Bangladesh make 124-7 against Pak in third T20

Sports desk: Opener Mohammad Naim scored 47 off 50 off balls while Shamim Hossaim and Afif Hossain ended up with 22 off 23 balls and 20 off 21 balls respectively to power Bangladesh to 124-7 in the third and final T20 against Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Monday.
For Pakistan, Usman Kadir, Mohammad Wasim claimed two each while Shahnawaz Dhani and Haris Rouf took one wicket each.
Batting first, Bangladesh’s failed to make a fine start as Nazmul Hossain Shanto made an early departure for a run-ball 5 by Shahnawaz Dhani that reduced Bangladesh to 7-1 in 1.3 overs.
In the second wicket stand Mohammad Naim and Shamim Hossain added 30 runs that helped the hosts to repair the early loss before Shamim gave a catch to Iftikhar Ahmed for 22 by Usman Qadir.
Later Afif Hossain’s 23 and Mahmud Ullah’s 13 off 14 helped the Tigers to reach 124-7 in the stipulated 20 overs.
