Australian diversity is celebrated in first ever Eid celebration in Sydney Cricket Ground

Sports celebrities and attendees described the Eid celebration at the Sydney Cricket Ground as a historic and important opportunity to promote multicultural Australia and diversity in sports. Speaking on the occasion, Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hawkley said that a festival like Eid held at Sydney’s historic Cricket Ground highlights the positive steps towards diversity in sports. Speakers and the audience lauded the efforts of the host Kamil khan who organized the historical event.
