Actor Azizul Hakim put on life support

Bangladesh renowned actor Azizul Hakim, who was tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, has been put on life support at a city hospital.

Confirming the matter on Friday morning, popular presenter and media personality Anjam Masud said Azizul was admitted to Bangladesh Specialized Hospital.

On November 10, Azizul Hakim, his wife, Zeenat Hakim, a noted playwright, along with their son Mohaimin Ridowan tested positive for COVID-19.

They have been receiving treatment form home. But Azizul was admitted to the hospital as his health condition deteriorated.

Starting his career in the 80s, Azizul Hakim has made a mark in theatre and television. He has been an integral part of the Aronnyak Natyadal for the last 40 years.
