Rifat murder in Barguna: Musa Bond sent to jail

Bangladesh desk: A Barguna court today sent Musa Bond (23) to jail in connection with five cases, including the murder of Rifat Sharif, in Barguna.
The arrest warrant was issued against Musa in this case during the trial.
Musa Bond had four more arrest warrants in other cases filed with the station before Rifat murder, the OC added.
Police arrested Musa from the fish market area of Barguna town around 11pm last night.
The magistrate then passed the order to send him to jail, the OC said.
The OC also said that after Rifat’s murder, Musa crossed the border and took refuge in India. He recently returned to Barguna.
Musa Bond was close to Nayan Bond, the main accused in the case, who was killed in a gunfight with the police.
