If you’ve visited these places in Sydney and its Northern Beaches, you need to get tested for COVID-19

Anyone who has visited particular Sydney venues in recent days will need to self isolate and get tested after a coronavirus outbreak on the Northern Beaches.

News South Wales now has 28 COVID-19 cases stemming from this recent cluster.

Two of those are residents of south-east Sydney and the rest are from the Northern Beaches.

Here’s the full list of those places and where you can get tested for COVID-19.

Visitors to the following venues should self isolate for 14 days even if they receive a negative result

Where to get tested on the Northern Beaches
NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant said GP clinics in Dee Why, Roseville and Macquarie Park had expanded their roles to include asymptomatic testing.

There is also increased testing options for the Northern Beaches community through new pop-up testing clinics.

Newport Pop up, Newport Community Centre, 11-13 The Boulevard, Newport, open from 8:00am to 10:00pm
Warringah Aquatic Centre Drive-through, 1 Aquatic Dr, Frenchs Forest, open from 8:00am to 10:00pm
A new drive-through clinic is also open at Avalon Bowling Club.

These sites are operational until 10:00pm, however, if needed, they will operate past 10:00pm.

Anyone who spent one hour or longer at the restaurant at this time must get tested and isolate until December 25. Other patrons should monitor for symptoms, and isolate and get tested immediately if symptoms appear.

Pilgrims Vegetarian Cafe, 97 Gerrale St, Cronulla, 16 December 11:30am-2:30pm

Anyone who was at the cafe during this time for one hour or more must be tested immediately and isolate until 30 December. Other patrons should monitor for symptoms, and get tested immediately if they appear.

Cronulla RSL Club, 38 Gerrale St, Cronulla on 16 December, 5:00pm to closing time.

Anyone who was at the RSL at this time must get tested and isolate until further notice. Close contacts will need to isolate until 30 December.

General advice for Northern Beaches residents
Residents of the Northern Beaches have been asked to stay home as much as possible over the next three days to assist with contact tracing and reducing transmission.

Anyone in the Northern Beaches local government area has also been asked today to wear a mask when indoors for at least the next 72 hours, excepting your own home.
