At least two injured after car crashes into pole on western Sydney highway

A car has crashed into a telegraph pole, seriously injuring at least two people and shutting down a major western Sydney road.
The vehicle hit the pole just before 4pm on the Hume Highway at the corner of Governor Macquarie Drive in Warwick Farm.
The driver is understood to be seriously injured.
His passenger was taken to Liverpool Hospital with lower leg injuries in a stable condition.
All northbound lanes are closed and there are major delays in both directions.
