Two youths killed in motorcycle accident on Padma Bridge

Bangladesh desk: Two youths, who were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on the Padma Bridge on Sunday, succumbed to their injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The deceased were identified as Md Alamgir Hossain, 22, and Md Fazlu, 21, residents of Dhaka’s Dohar.
According to police, the accident took place around 8.00pm between pillars 26 and 27 of the bridge. Later, the injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared them dead.
DMCH police outpost in-charge Bachchu Miah said they were declared dead on arrival at about 10:30pm.
The government has imposed restriction on plying of motorcycles over Padma Bridge from Monday morning. The Bridge Division issued an order in this regard on Sunday night.
The order said the government imposed restriction on plying of motorcycles on Padma Bridge from 6:00am on Monday until the issuance of next order.
