KSA governor praises Bangladeshi migrant workers

Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud has termed Bangladeshi migrant workers ‘very loyal, hardworking and sincere’.

The Riyadh governor praised the Bangladeshi workers during a meeting with newly appointed Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Javed Patwari on Sunday.

Prince Faisal welcomed the newly Bangladesh envoy and wished him success in discharging his duty.

Mentioning the long friendly relationship between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, the governor wished that the existing relationship and  cooperation between the two countries would be accelerated in the days ahead.

The Ambassador thanked the Governor for providing medical treatment and emergency food aid to the Bangladeshi migrants during the period of coronavirus pandemic.

During the meeting, Ambassador Javed Patwari also conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar.
Following the request of the ambassador, the Saudi governor assured him of extending cooperation in allocating land for Bangladesh International School in Riyadh.
Deputy Chief of Mission SM Anisul Haque and First Secretary Md Belal Hossain accompanied the Ambassador.
