Khaleda Zia undergoes angiogram, condition not critical but ‘unstable’

A 12-member medical board of the hospital recommended for angiogram test to check the condition of her heart as she suffered a coronary cardiac attack, said her personal physician Dr AZM Zahid Hossain.
Dr AZM Zahid Hossain said, “Khaleda Zia’s angiogram has been done under the supervision of cardiologist Dr Shahabuddin Talukder. She has been kept under 72-hour close observation at the Coronery Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital. Her condition is not critical but it is still ‘unstable’.”
The 76-year-old former prime minister has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung and eye problems.
He believes Khaleda will be able to recover completely if she is allowed to go abroad for treatment.
