Japan hopes Bangladesh will achieve stable development through a peaceful, democratic transition, said its embassy in Dhaka.
Under the “strategic partnership” between the two nations, Japan reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Bangladesh’s development and prosperity.
Japan also voiced its support for the transition process led by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, who was sworn in as the head of the interim government on August 8.
