Inu, Menon, Palak, ex-IGP Mamun sent to jail

A Dhaka court on Thursday sent Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-Jasod president Hasanul Haq Inu, Workers Party of Bangladesh president Rashed Khan Menon, ex-state minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak and ex-IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun to jail in expiry of their remand period.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saifur Rahman passed the order after a hearing.

Inu was produced before the court after the end of 16 days of remand in the three phases, Menon after 11 days of remand in two phases, Palak after 23 days of remand in three phases, and Mamun after the end of the 8-day remand.
