CR Dutta body brought to Bangladesh

Bangladesh Desk: The body of retired major general Chitta Ranjan Dutta, better known as CR Dutta, commander of Sector 4 during the country’s War of Liberation in 1971, had been brought back to the country Monday morning.
A flight of Emirates brought the body from Florida in the United States, said a press release.
His body will be kept at the morgue of the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka on Monday, Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad said in the press release.
On Tuesday, his body will be taken to his residence at Banani DOHS and then to Dhakeshwari National Temple for paying tributes to him.
His body will then be taken to Rajarbagh Baredshwari crematorium at about 11:00am. As part of military honour, gun salutes will be accorded to him before his cremation there.
CR Dutta died in Florida, USA on Tuesday at the age of 93.
Dutta suddenly fell in the bathroom of the residence of his daughter Kavita Dasgupta and broke his leg on August 20.
Later, he was rushed to the hospital where his condition deteriorated rapidly.
