BNP wants end of extra-judicial killings

BNP secretary general, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Thursday demanded an end of the extra-judicial killings in the country.
The party secretary general, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, at a virtual press conference raised the demand and said that Awami League government had been using extra-judicial killings in order to establish its supremacy.
‘The Awami Leaugue government has taken stand against the spirit of the War of Independence. The government has destroyed democracy and constitutional rule in the country,’ Fakrul said.
Fakrul also demanded fair trial of the killers of Bangladesh Army retired major Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan in Cox’s Bazar on July 31.
He also called on all the democratic political parties to be united to wage movement against the government to put an end to the misrule of the ruling party. Courtesy: NewAge
