BNP activists assault Hero Alom on court premises

Content creator Ashraful Hossain, better known as Hero Alom, was allegedly attacked by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party leaders and activists on the court premises in Bogura on Sunday.

He was attacked when he was coming out from the Bogura senior judicial magistrate court after filing a case against the Awami League general secretary, Obaidul Quader, and the immediate past chief election commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal.

Sharing a video of the attack on his Facebook profile, Hero Alom alleged the BNP men for the attack. Bogura district additional superintendent of police for crime, Md Abdur Rashid, told New Age that they were aware of the incident.

‘We are trying to find out the attackers and have already spoken with the court inspector. Hero Alom is yet to file any case in this connection,’ the police official said.

Bogura court Lawyers’ Assistants Association executive member Roni Sarkar acknowledged the attack on Hero Alom to media.
