Bangladesh condemns drone attack in Saudi Arabia’s Airport

Bangladesh has strongly condemns the Houthi
bomb-laden drone attack which targeted King Abdullah Airport in Jazan, Saudi
Arabia on October 8 injuring civilians including few Bangladeshis workers.

“Such attacks are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law,
moral values and completely unacceptable,” a foreign ministry’s statement
said here today.

It said Bangladesh expressed its grave concerns over the growing number of
Houthi militia attacks on the Saudi Arabia which undermines the ongoing peace
initiatives.

While urging a peaceful resolution of Yemen conflict, Dhaka expressed its
solidarity with the Saudi Arabian government and its brotherly people in
condemning such irresponsible activities.

Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh has been asked to look after Bangladeshi
citizens injured in latest Houthi attack and to provide necessary
supports,the statement added.
