Bangladesh breaks record for most deaths in 24 hrs

Bangladesh desk: Bangladesh has recorded its most coronavirus-related deaths in a single day.
With the deaths of 74 more people in the last 24 hours until 8:00 am on Thursday, Bangladesh’s COVID-19 death count now stands at 9,521.
During the period, the country reported 6,854 new cases of the coronavirus, taking the tally to 666,132.
Some 3,391 people recovered from the virus infection in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally of recoveries to 565,030.
The infection rate slipped to 20.65 percent from 22.02 percent on Thursday.
