Bangladesh: Banks, int’l flights to operate during lockdown

Banking activities and special international flights will go on during the second phase of strict lockdown which will start from April 22.

A notification on lockdown issued by the Cabinet Division on Tuesday informed the matter.

Considering the corona situation, the government has extended the ongoing situation till April 28.

Meanwhile, the National Technical Advisory Committee on COVID-19 has recommended for strict enforcement of lockdown for one more week. For extension of the lockdown, an inter-ministerial meeting at the initiative of the cabinet division was also held on Monday.
