Bangladesh Army Chief meets US Army Chief of Staff General

Bangladesh Desk: Bangladesh Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed has paid a courtesy call on US Army Chief of Staff General James Charles McConville.
Both of them discussed mutual cooperation and strengthening relations between the two armies during the meeting held on Saturday at Pentagon, USA, according to an Inter Service Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) press release.
The two army chiefs presented crests each other and later joined a dinner.
Bangladesh Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed is now on a visit to the United States at the invitation of the US Army Chief. He left Dhaka for the United States on January 29.
During the visit, General Aziz Ahmed also joined in discussions on regional defense and bilateral military cooperation in the office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy South and Southeast Asia. He also visited various US military installations and training facilities.
