Army distributes Eid gifts among poor

On behalf of Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, Eid gifts were distributed among the needy people of Dhaka cantonment area on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The gift packets of food items were distributed today at Dhaka Cantonment Board Adarsha Biddya Niketon, Manikdi premises, said a press release.
Acting Station Commander Brigadier General Shamim Ahmed, NDC, PSC, on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, distributed the gift packets among about 500 poor families.
Local dignitaries including military and civilian officials were present on the occasion.
