Shakib expects third child

Sports Desk: On New Year’s Day, Bangladesh all-arounder Shakib al Hasan said his wife is expecting their third child.
By Friday night, Shakib confirmed to the media that his family is expecting a new member in few months
The left-arm all-rounder took to his social media account to make the revelation through a photo with his wife Ummey Ahmed Shishir and a caption saying “New year, new beginning, new addition. Happy New Year to everyone.”
Confusion was stirred initially as the caption did not clearly mention the new child.
However, by Friday night, Shakib confirmed to the media of his family expecting a new member in few months.
“InShaaAllah. Competing with Ronaldo (Portuguese footballer Christiano Ronaldo),” Shakib replied light heartedly to a Bangla newspaper when asked if he is expecting their third child.
Shakib became father of his second child, daughter Errum Hasan, in April last year.
His eldest daughter, Alaina Hasan, was born in November, 2015.
The 33-year old returned to competitive cricket through the recently concluded Bangabandhu T20 Cup following the completion of his one-year ban imposed by International Cricket Council.
Shakib was slammed with the ban after being found guilty of failing to report multiple corrupt approaches.
He played for tournament champions Gemcon Khulna but had to leave before the final to attend to his ailing father-in-law in the United States.
