GM Quader urges to launch judicial probe over killing 6

Leader of the opposition in parliament and Jatiya Party chairman Golam Mohammad Quader has asked to form a judicial probe committee into the deaths of six people (mostly students) during quota protest across Bangladesh and expressed anger and sorrow over Tuesday’s violence.
In a condolence message on Wednesday, he prayed for the departed souls and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members. At the same time, he demanded the formation of a judicial inquiry committee into every killing. He said the students’ demand for the quota reform is logical. The government has to accept this reasonable demand, he added.
‘Abu Sayeed, a student of the English department of Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur, was carrying out peaceful non-violent protest. Then the police shot him brutally. The world has seen the video of this brutal massacre,’ he said.
