Bangladesh: 12 new Covid cases reported in 24hrs

A total of 12 Covid-19 fresh cases were reported in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), A total of 895 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 1.34 percent.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the country now reached 20, 45,625.

The official data showed a total of 29,477 people in the country died due to the disease since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.

According to the release, the total number of recoveries till Tuesday reached 4, 23,559.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
