BNP expresses condolences at death of Sayeedi

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed condolences at the death of Delwar Hossain Sayeedi.

In a condolence message, the BNP senior leader said the death of Allama Mawlana Delwar Hossain Sayeedi while in prison is deeply saddened.

He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.

At around 5:00pm on Sunday, Sayeedi was first taken to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital in Gazipur from Kashimpur Jail after he felt chest pain. He was, later, referred to the BSMMU for advanced treatment where he died of heart attack on Monday night.
